Nói Síríus is a family-owned chocolate and confection manufacturer in Iceland The company brands are a household name in the country and include Nóa Lakkrís, Opal, Tópas pastilles and Háls hard candy.
Fun fact: In a country with a population of 345,000, they produce over 300,000 easter eggs per year!
We have picked a small subset of the range to start with, please do let us know if we are missing your favourites from Iceland.
NÓA TROMP
This super popular treat is available in both a 45g bar and as a 150g bag of bites. A tale of two halves, this confection combines liquorice with coconut that has been covered in milk chocolate.
Tromp is basically the Icelandic liquorice equivalent of the Bounty bar and has split the Liquorice Heaven office down the middle in the same way – two love it, two cannot stand it!
NÓA LAKKRÍS PIPARPERLUR
Nóa Lakkrís Piparperlur are the ever-popular flavour combination that most brands offer: Chocolate balls with a liquorice core that have been rolled in a strong liquorice powder.
NÓA LAKKRÍS PIPAR KÚLUR
We’ve had multiple requests for these. Liquorice Pepper balls are hard chewy liquorice caramels covered with milk chocolate and peppered (Dusted) with liquorice powder.
