Liquorice Heaven

I really love these, the bubblegum flavour is authentic and very nice (I’ve never had a fruit gum jelly in that flavour before so was very keen to give them a try and have ordered them regularly since then). They don’t contain liquorice in case that’s a requirement for you.

These are right up there with all the other products I have tried from here. Highly recommend!

Right off the bat I need to state that your enjoyment of these will be dependent on how much you appreciate the taste of mackerel.

They aren't fishy, but the smokey element is something that I associated very strongly with the taste of smoked fish, which is clearly intentional.

First couple of tastes were a bit odd, but I definitely became a fan after the initial shock.

It's a bit of a weird one, because I think that a big part of the experience is that it makes you believe that you're tasting something completely different from what you put in your mouth for a couple of seconds until the true liquorice flavour takes over.

Definitely a marmite product overall.

Thoroughly enjoyed these, but trying to describe the experience of having them without it sounding smutty is very challenging.

It takes less sucking than you'd imagine for the ammonium chloride power to be discharged from these sweets, so if you're not keen on that flavour in isolation they might not be for you.

That's about as free of innuendo as I can manage.

Thoroughly enjoyed these, but they were extremely moreish and therefore I don't recommend having them too late in the day due to the coffee content.
I don't know if they're particularly caffeinated, but cumulatively they do seem to give a bit of a buzz and I found it difficult to moderate my consumption so unless you're planning to go out I'd recommend having them earlier in the day.

Toffee Flavour Sweet Liquorice Twists

A free liquorice in one of my orders was a raspberry veggie sunset and I thought I wouldn't like it as I am not fond of sour tastes.
But that changed when I actually ate it.
I was pleasantly surprised, liked it a lot and have just the other day added it to my regular monthly toms witches order.

Recommended by my daughter and it doesn’t disappoint.

Tasty bites with a slight kick at the end - perfect blend of flavours that doesn’t over complicate the original Lakrid taste.

I love the combination of liquorice and mint flavours. The pellets are small but pack a mighty punch. The bonus is they come in a really cute tin!
