The calendar contains a full 385g of liquorice divided into 60% salted, a little sweet, some sour and a REALLY hot one to put some fire in your belly.
Every window contains at least two pieces so you can share with someone else (If you are generous). Unique flavours every day. Suitable for vegetarians. Contains nuts.

About Haupt Lakrits
Haupt Lakrits was launched in August 2014 by Christian Haupt and is based out of a small liquorice studio near Stockholm, Sweden. They focus on small batch production of liquorice using the highest quality ingredients that they can obtain. Haupt Liquorice are known for producing liquorice contains as much as 9% raw Calabrian liquorice and for cooking methods that produce intense, smooth and mature flavours.

Syrup, WHEAT FLOUR, sugar (granulated sugar, cane sugar), invert sugar syrup, glucose syrup, maize starch, potato starch, molasses, raw liquorice from Calabria, liquorice extract, ammonium chloride (salmiac), vegetable fat/oil (coconut, rapeseed), salt (incl. Japanese snow salt), star anise, anise, humectant (E420/sorbitol), 39% milk, dark and white chocolate (sugar, cocoa butter, cocoa mass, MILK POWDER, WHOLE MILK POWDER, SKIMMED MILK POWDER, MILK SUGAR, whey powder (MILK), emulsifier: SOYA LECITHIN, natural vanilla flavour, caramelised sugar, salt), freeze-dried fruit & berries (blueberry, strawberry, cherry, lingonberry, passion fruit), yoghurt powder (MILK), honey, coffee beans, dried roses, flavourings (rose, cherry blossom, orange, strawberry, cream, cola, peppermint), colourings (E100, E150c), preservative (E202/potassium sorbate), glazing agent (E903/carnauba wax), coconut oil, spices (black pepper, cardamom, cinnamon, clove, ginger, saffron, piment d'Espelette, Carolina Reaper, rosemary, black cardamom), feuilletine (sunflower and rapeseed oil, MALT EXTRACT). Cocoa solids: minimum 39%.

To include a message, just write what you want included in the note in the gift message section in the shopping basket.
We will then include a written note in the box with the liquorice sweets (and no receipt!) - it is as simple as that!
UK Christmas Delivery
Our cutoff for orders for pre-Christmas delivery is midnight on Thursday the 18th of December. Orders placed after this date will be dispatched but are unlikely to arrive in time for Christmas day.
Free shipping
Free UK Delivery when you spend £25 (After discounts applied). For UK orders below £25, we charge either £3.95 (Weight 2kg or less) or £4.95 (Over 2kg).
For international orders and sub £25 UK orders we never charge excessive amounts for postage and packaging.
Our P&P charges are made up of the Royal Mail charge for the service plus a small contribution towards the packaging materials, plus VAT for UK orders, which we are legally obliged to charge.
Same Day Dispatch
We aim to ship all items as soon as payment is cleared. This means that items ordered and paid for by 12 noon (UK time) Monday-Friday are dispatched on the same day. Items ordered and paid for after 12 noon or over the weekend are sent on the next working day.
On rare occasions, dispatch may take longer e.g. Black Friday, Christmas rush. In such circumstances we endevour to make this clear with a website banner that will be present on all product pages.
Pre-order Products
Occasionally we may offer products available for pre-order e.g. advent calendars. For these items, we take payment and dispatch once they are in stock with us in the UK. If you check out with both pre-order and in stock items in your basket, shipping will be calculated separately for those in-stock items and they will be dispatched immediately.
Standard / Free UK Delivery
As standard, we ship using Royal Mail 48 (Second class) delivery service which is a 2-3 working day service (approximately).
Please be aware that delivery to certain UK postcodes will take longer due to their remote locations. We cannot be held responsible for delays as a result of sending to these destinations.
Express UK Delivery - DHL
Upgraded delivery via DHL Express is available to delivery addresses in England & Wales and offers a next business day service.
Express UK Delivery - Royal Mail
Further UK destinations are available for express delivery via Royal Mail Special delivery. This offers next business day delivery to UK mainland but has the following limitations for some harder to reach areas.

International Delivery
International shipping costs are calculated at the point of sale and depend on location, total shipping weight (Including the packaging) and the best pricing we can obtain from our shipping partners. We currently ship to the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Guernsey, Jersey & The Isle of Man. We also ship to the following European countries:

International Taxes & Importation Fees
British VAT (at 20%) is not charged on any purchases with delivery destinations outside of the UK.
USA: For USA based delivery addresses, we collect tariffs on behalf of US customs. No additional duties & clearance fees should be due.
For European destination addresses: We collect tariffs and duties on behalf of your country at the time of purchase so these should not be required to be paid to clear customs. Additional small parcel handling fees may be charged by customs for release at your destination country (e.g. €2 for Italy) depending on the value of goods.
Rest of world: We do not collect VAT, duties, tariffs and customs fees. You will be responsible for payment of any such import duties, taxes (Such as VAT) and customs handling & clearance fees once the parcel reaches your destination country. Please contact your local customs office for further information before placing your order. Please note that we have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount.
We are legally required to declare the correct value & country of origin of all products as this is used to calculate the tax and any tariff duty due.
Packaging
We ship all of our liquorice in boxes to ensure it arrives undamaged and in pristine condition upon arrival. Wherever possible, our liquorice is shipped in letterbox friendly packaging.
The majority of our postal packaging is made from recycled materials and 100% of it is recyclable. Once you have received your liquorice, we encourage you to help us protect the planet by recycling it.
For freshness, the liquorice itself comes in variety of packaging, depending on supplier. Once you have finished enjoying your liquorice, please dispose of it in an appropriate way, following any recycling guidance listed on the packaging.
To minimise potentially unnecessary paperwork, we don’t include an invoice/receipt with the delivery but a link to a printable copy can be found on your order confirmation email.
