Fazer Tyrkisk Peber Original – since 1977. Hard boiled salt liquorice sweets with a peppery-spicy liquorice powder filling.
A little known fact: they were invented by Per Fjelsten in 1976 in Jutland, Denmark and was originally made by the Danish company Perelly, before the company was acquired by Fazer in 1977. Fazer has producted them in Finland since the 1990's.
Karl Fazer opened his first café in Helsinki in 1891. In 1894, Karl Fazer rented six rooms on Pursimiehenkatu street in Helsinki for the purpose of producing chocolate cakes and confections. The company has been growing ever since and is now one of the Nordic region’s largest food companies with over 6,000 staff.
