Very good flavour

Dissolves well, even in cold water. Just a pity there is not a hint of proportion of the liquorice to the sugars it’s mixed with. It makes guesswork necessary when cooking as the sugar in recipes has to be altered to compensate for the sugar in the powder.

Other than that, a good product at a sensible price.

Don't buy if you are EU based

I assume it's a great product, haven't tasted yet. But due to the UK - EU arrangement import duties go through the roof. payed double for a Italian product sold in the UK. Its a pity nothing was mentioned in their website, that's way give 2 stars

Better than nothing

The problem with this powder is that the amount of liquorice is an unknown as it is diluted with sugars (and possibly thickening agents?). I need to make the perfect liquorice ice cream and panna cotta so I will carry on experimenting but will not be buying this brand again.

Zero to Sublime in 30 minutes

Tested initially in your recipe for aubergine and tomato salsa the result proved to be a delectation of complex flavours I could never have guessed at.
See what it did to my descriptive powers!
Subsequent use in various dishes hasn't failed my raised expectations. I'm a true devotee.

Ice cream anyone

Made a significant amount of liquorice ice cream whilst on holiday, as you do.
