Liquorice Heaven – A Business from a Passion:

My mother ran the general store in the small Wiltshire village where I grew up,
and being so close to the primary school, we did a roaring trade in sweets,
so I suppose you could say confectionary runs in the family!
I distinctly remember going with Mum to the sweet fairs a few times a year,
where all the sweet makers would advertise their wares – often giving out a
few free samples! I would be allowed to pick out what liquorice I wanted for Christmas.  
My favourite was a ‘smoking set’, with a pipe and tobacco made out of liquorice.  
Well, I never did try smoking, but I became addicted to liquorice!
So, when the chance came for a change of career, it seemed the perfect opportunity
to indulge one of my private passions, and so this web site was born.
Of course, having to taste the products we offer is just one perk of the job!  
I’ve too many favourites to choose between them, but I hope you enjoy
